Overview

The Administrative Core (AC) serves as the central coordinating unit for the Bioecological Center for Rural Children’s Health (BeRCH). Led by Drs. Gregg Stanwood and Javier Rosado, with support from program manager Ashley Butler and statistician Dr. Michael Killian, the AC ensures the efficient and effective operation of all center activities.

Our Approach

The Administrative Core takes a proactive approach to support BeRCH’s mission of promoting equal opportunity for health and development among children in rural agricultural areas, such as Immokalee. By focusing on chemical and non-chemical toxicants collectively and translating scientific findings into actionable strategies, we create an environment where innovative research and development activities can flourish.

Objectives

The AC focuses on five key objectives to support the center’s mission:
